The Streets are a hip hop, garage and electronic outfit based in Birmingham, fronted by Mike Skinner.
Originally formed in 1994, they rose to prominence in the early 2000s and went on to become one of the UK Underground's flagship acts, bridging the gap between the gritty garage scene and the mainstream. Putting out their cult classic debut 'Original Pirate Material' in 2002, they reached #1 with their next two albums: 2004's 'A Grand Don't Come for Free' and 2006's 'The Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living'. They remained incredibly popular for their next two records, until Skinner called time on The Streets in 2011. The group reformed in 2018, with a new mixtape, 'None Of Us Are Getting Out Of This Alive', arriving in 2020, followed by their next studio album, 'The Darker The Shadow The Brighter The Light', in 2023 and a remix record in 2024. The Streets will play 'A Grand Don't Come For Free' in full for the first time on a UK tour in summer 2026, following a string of Australian dates in March. General Help & Venue Information
Age restrictions are set by the venue and vary for each event. Most arena and stadium shows allow children over 5 years old to attend, as long as they are accompanied by an adult but variations to this policy do occur. Some standing only venues (such as O2 Academies and Concert Halls) will allow over 14's to attend with an adult. Please check the event details page, and the official ticket seller, for specific information. We recommend arriving at least 60 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow for entry, security checks, and finding your seat. Door times are listed on the ticket. All venues are committed to being accessible to all fans. For specific information regarding accessible seating, entrances, or other accommodations, please contact the venue directly. Parking availability varies by venue and city. We recommend checking the venue's official website for the most up-to-date information on nearby car parks, hourly/daily rates, and public transportation options. The Streets Concert & Event Reviews |
